I Listen to You

My job is to illustrate your dream house, then produce construction plans for the building. To do that, I have to listen and respond to every detail. I have an enjoyable procedure I begin with, but we will soon drift to personal goals. That's where I learn the most. If you plan to live in this house for 20 years or more, you have to wonder if it will accomodate you ten years later. If the home is an investment or a labor of love, other opportunities arise for you to express your imagination through me and a thorough set of plans.

Design Development

A PencilJazz job is conducted in 3 phases. Phase One: I develop and illustrate a complete house design concept. Phase Two: I illustrate the changes assigned after you have helped me edit Phase One. Phase Three: I produce a complete technical set of construction plans with schedules, details, sections, plans, elevations, and renderings. I request three separate payments made only after completing each phase by delivering prints and files.

Construction Plans

I am the first to admit I am not perfect, yet, but that's the goal. My work is very accurate and thorough because I am passionate about it, and I do it all myself. As a result, it's a lot of work. I meet deadlines. You can rely upon my dimensions. Changes occur. That's natural.
